All registered Canadian egg farmers take part in a comprehensive national Animal Care Program. It reflects the highest standards in animal care, based on the Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Pullets and Laying Hens developed in collaboration with animal welfare experts, scientists, veterinarians and government and industry representatives.
