This year marks the 10th anniversary of our national young farmer program. The program supports young egg farmers in their leadership journey within our sector by offering networking opportunities and educational sessions to expand knowledge and build skills.

Every year, we are proud to welcome a new group of young egg farmers into our national young farmer program. Through the program, we’re preparing and inspiring the next generation of egg sector leaders as they develop their skills, expand their knowledge and build connections with industry and other young egg farmers from across Canada.

February 13 marks the 8th annual Canada’s Agriculture Day, a special occasion where we come together to celebrate made-in-Canada food and the people who bring it from farm to plate.

Every year, Egg Farmers of Canada welcomes a new crop of young leaders to take part in our national young farmer program. It’s an opportunity to share best practices, hone leadership skills, expand knowledge and build connections with industry and with other young leaders from across Canada.

One of the ways egg farmers give back is through our Egg Farmers Give Back program, which provides funding to egg farmers across Canada in support of local grassroots community projects.
