This World Egg Day, we’re shining a spotlight on egg farmers from coast to coast who are proud to provide their fellow Canadians with nutritious and versatile eggs.
Here in Canada, more than 1,200 egg farmers and farm families across all 10 provinces and the Northwest Territories provide a steady supply of eggs—to the tune of over 10 billion eggs every year!
It’s all made possible thanks to Canada’s system of supply management which matches demand with a steady supply of Canadian eggs.
