Young farmers: the future of Canada’s agriculture sector

As part of our long-term commitment towards social responsibility and the sustainability of our industry, Egg Farmers of Canada proudly partners with some exceptional organizations.

Today, I am pleased to announce a new partnership with the Canadian Young Farmers’ Forum—a national organization, which strives to connect leading young agriculture producers across Canada, to provide support, encouragement and resources to promote agriculture.

Our partnership with CYFF is inspired from our desire to empower and cultivate the next generation of Canadian farmers. Some are the sons and daughters of the farmers we represent. Others are new entrants who are driven by their interests to produce fresh, local and high-quality products for Canadians. Together, they are the future leaders of Canada’s agriculture sector.

In collaboration with CYFF, we will share our knowledge about the vast opportunities for young Canadians within supply managed industries and work together to help future agricultural leaders gain the experience and expertise needed for long-term success.

Through forums and events, we look forward to exchanging ideas and building an understanding of our industry’s history. We hope that with and through this organization, we can continue to promote the industry and strengthen our network of champions who can tell our stories to more and more Canadians.
